Status: 19.6.25

We at Aparthotel Bergland make every effort to make our website accessible in accordance with the legal requirements. This declaration on accessibility applies to our website www.aparthotel-bergland.at – Owner: Familie Embacher GmbH.
Our efforts are based on the Austrian Accessibility Act BaFG (of July 19, 2023 in the Federal Law Gazette BGBl. I No. 76/2023) and the European Accessibility Directive “RL (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services”, which came into force on June 28, 2025.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

The accessibility requirements result from the above-mentioned BAFG and the European Accessibility Directive. The review of compliance with the requirements is based on an internal review carried out on June 18, 2025.
It was found that the content and functions of our website are largely compatible with the aforementioned requirements.

Non-accessible content:

Where it was not possible to implement accessibility (e.g. with the contrasts), alternative measures were taken to guarantee you a barrier-free surfing experience (e.g. by installing a contrast switch).
The following points have been implemented to make our website barrier-free for you:

Color contrasts:

The contrasts on the website are not barrier-free. So that you can read all our content without any problems, you will find a square, light gray control element with a split circle symbol on the left-hand side. Click on it and the text will appear in a very legible contrast.

Font sizes:

If the font sizes are too small for you, you can click on the light gray control element “TT” – also on the left-hand side of the website. The fonts will then be displayed larger.

Buttons, buttons and text links:

The buttons that provide you with further information are screen reader-compatible. They are installed in the required minimum size and can also be operated via the keyboard (using a tab) if desired.
Unfortunately, it is not technically possible to enter a link title for text links (links in continuous text).

Headings:

Some headings are not correctly recognized by the common accessibility test programs. This is due to the technical structure of the website. However, all headings (the Hx hierarchy) are correctly integrated and can be read by screen readers without any problems.

These contents do not fall within the scope of the applicable legal provisions:

  • We have included content and documents from third-party providers on our website. We cannot make any statement regarding the compatibility of third-party content with the above-mentioned BAFG and the European Accessibility Directive. For this reason, third-party content is excluded from the requirements of the Accessibility Act.
  • You will also find older content and documents on our website that are not accessible. As these were published on the website before 28.6.25, they are also excluded from the Accessibility Act and no changes are currently planned.
