Into the skiing fun

The first attempts at skiing

The “Hexenwiese” adventure course directly at the valley station of the cable car invites you to take your first steps on skis and try your hand at skiing. With various stations, such as the “witches’ seesaw”, “hedge hump”, “witches’ stick bath” and the “magic carpet”, children gain important experience and their first feeling for skiing in a playful way. Skiing fun on the “Hexenwiese” is free of charge for the whole family.

Learn to ski in our ski school

Our in-house children’s ski school Söll-Hochsöll offers courses and supervision for children of all ages. Our own practice areas, such as the “Mini-Kinderland” at the valley station and the “Hexen-Kinderland” with 3 conveyor belts at the middle station of the cable car, provide a variety of skiing fun.
All those who already feel quite confident on skis will find little adventures in our children’s and teens’ ski courses:

• “Hexenwelle” adventure slope for the youngest children
• Hans im Glück” course with tunnels, crossings, boxes and jumps, curves & corners
• Fun area with floodlights for night sessions (always Wednesday to Saturday, for teens)

Our special for adrenaline junkies

For teens looking for a special thrill, we offer special courses such as freeriding in open ski terrain or ski & boarder crossline with timekeeping.

Professional childcare

The Kinderland Kornkammer (KIKO) above the ski school at the valley station offers professional childcare for children aged 1-15 every day from 9:30 to 16:00:

• Different themed rooms,
• varied entertainment program and
• various outdoor activities

… ensure lots of fun and a good mood!

Fancy a tobogganing excursion?

The perfectly groomed, family-friendly “Hexenritt” toboggan run is a special highlight for the whole family! Giggling, glowing witches, witches’ brooms and eerie smoke accompany the ride! Open daily from 8:00 to 17:30.
How about a game of moonlight tobogganing? Our moon toboggan run with floodlights and snow-making facilities is always open to visitors from Wednesday to Saturday from 18:30 to 22:30!

You can hire toboggans from Sport Edlinger for a fee.

A night-time skiing adventure

For all those who just can’t get enough of skiing, the cable cars of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser open another 10 km of pistes from Wednesday to Saturday in the evening hours from 18:30 to 21:30! The valley run is even floodlit until 22:30! The Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser is Austria’s largest night skiing area – pure skiing pleasure!

Murmi’s Kinderland

Every now and then you need a little break from winter sports!
How about a trip to the nearby indoor children’s paradise “Murmi’s Kinderland”? There are great attractions for young and old on 1,200 m². There is also entertainment for the parents! Read more
