Experience adventure

This excursion promises exciting adventures and magical moments for the whole family. Open your eyes and let yourself be carried away to the wonders of nature! Here, the focus is on being amazed, discovering and exploring the surrounding world! Various chambers of wonders, paths and stations are waiting for your visit. The witches show you the way – but you have to walk it yourself. Austria’s longest barefoot trail leads through streams and meadows, across sticks, stones and sand. Can you feel the different textures? Under the witches’ umbrellas, you will discover vibrating singing bowls and the water drop orchestra.

Find out what secrets are hidden behind the magical witch’s ladders. Or take part in the sundial hike on the Hohe Salve and listen to the sounds of the wind harp.

The Witches’ Water Adventure Park in Söll offers many water stations! Remember to pack your swimsuit, sunscreen and a change of clothes!

What can you do in case of bad weather?

If the weather is not good, various indoor activities are ready and waiting. In “Blue Wonder”, experiments are conducted with water, and secrets and mysteries of the “source of life” are explored in a fun way. Or you can visit the 400-year-old Simonalm. In the kitchen, you will learn how butter is made. Cheese and milk can also be tasted. In the bakery, grain is ground, dough is kneaded, and loaves are baked. In the Hexerei, you can learn interesting facts about handicrafts, life and witchcraft in former times. In addition, you can sew and cast spells with the witches and listen to stories about witches in the old farmhouse parlours.

You can also see and discover a lot at the Bee Theatre and the AmVieh Theatre, at the Kirschkino (cherry cinema) and in the Kirschgarten (cherry garden).

What else is there to see?

We have a very special treasure to share with you: The Salvenkirchlein.
The name “Salve” is derived from the Latin greeting “be well”. The Salvenkirchlein is Austria’s highest pilgrimage church. It is located at 1,829 metres and offers a breathtaking view of the Wilder Kaiser mountains and over 70 three-thousand-metre peaks. From May to October, a guided tour is offered every Wednesday, where you can learn exciting facts about the history of the church at the summit.
